The Transformation         i was running. thump, thump, thump were my feet on the hard ground.  faster and faster i went. energy. pure energy flowed through me, like fire in my veins. no longer did i hear thump, thump, but thud-a-thump, thud-a-thump, as two became four. exileration. i heard nothing as my feet lifted off the ground and into the nothingness of the sky. i was a dragon.

It is one of the things we fear the most, despite all it can give.

It also often takes away and is constant while we live.

Even in death it has its way when we no longer do.

We see it in the setting sun and in skies at nighttime, too.
